Looking for something to appeal to some little ones that doesn’t revolve around pink, glitter, hearts, and love. Then I’ve got just the thing. Dino Valentine’s!
My dinos are from Target ($1.99 for 24) though I’m sure you can find something similar at lots of places, maybe even the dollar store?
While sitting at library story time I cut out 2 dozen miniature paper banners with a little “ROAR” on them. Then when we got home my boy set to work writing his name on the backs. A little piece of thread ties the banner to each dinosaurs neck and they are ready to find some new homes among our friends.
Cheap and easy. Not too wasteful. And not too girly, which can be hard for this holiday! Though we do have lots of girly things in the works around our house too!
I love these! I found a bagful of dinosaurs like this at the thrift store in the fall for 25 cents, mixed in with some cars & junk.
